What is $SYRUP?

SYRUP is the governance and utility token of the Maple Finance ecosystem. Launched in November 2024 as the replacement for Maple’s former MPL token, SYRUP is issued as an ERC-20 asset on Ethereum. The token gives holders a role in protocol governance, allowing them to participate in decisions related to Maple’s development and key protocol parameters. It is also connected to Maple’s economic model, as 25% of protocol revenue is allocated to SYRUP buybacks. This mechanism links the token’s utility to the growth and performance of Maple’s institutional lending business. Although Maple’s broader ecosystem extends across multiple blockchain environments, the SYRUP token itself is deployed on Ethereum.

A total rewards pool of 22,000 $SYRUP has been allocated for the campaign, giving new traders an opportunity to earn rewards while trying out the Futures Terminal. To join, users need to open a Perpetual position, complete verification, and claim their share of the $SYRUP rewards before the campaign concludes.

First 10 participants: Trade at least 200 USDC in Futures and receive $10 worth of $SYRUP tokens.

Next 20 participants: Trade at least 200 USDC in Futures and receive $5 worth of $SYRUP tokens.

Event Registration & Eligibility

1. To participate, new users must register for the event by clicking the “Create Account” button or by creating an account on the Tothemoon platform within the campaign period 01.09.2025 – 19.06.2026.
2. All registered user accounts must complete Advanced Verification (KYC) to be eligible for participation and rewards.
3. “New users” are defined as individuals who create a Tothemoon account during the event period specified above. Each new user may participate in only one airdrop campaign created exclusively for new users. If a user joins multiple new-user airdrop campaigns, only the first valid participation will be eligible for rewards. Additional entries in other new-user airdrops will not be considered for prizes. Separate airdrops open to all users remain available for general participation, provided eligibility requirements are met.
4. Restricted Countries for this futures trading airdrop campaign: EEA (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, UK, Switzerland, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, United Arab Emirates) and banned countries also not allowed to participate in the current airdrop.
5. Institutional users and market makers are strictly excluded from participating in this event and are not eligible for rewards.

Activity Metrics

1. Upon successful registration, the system will automatically track each user’s trading activity during the event. You can get more information on Futures Trading Terminology and on How to Trade Futures.

Reward Conditions

1. Prize distribution is as follows: the first 10 eligible users who reach a minimum Futures trading volume of 200 USDC will receive $10 worth of $SYRUP tokens each, the next 20 eligible users who reach a minimum Futures trading volume of 200 USDC will receive $5 worth of $SYRUP tokens each, and all remaining eligible users who reach a minimum Futures trading volume of 200 USDC will receive $3 worth of $SYRUP tokens each.
2. Each user can receive only one new user reward across all Tothemoon new user events. Example: If a user completes the requirements in two separate new user events (Event A and Event B), the reward will be issued only for the event with the earlier reward distribution date. Once a reward is claimed from one event, the user becomes ineligible for further new user event rewards.
3. Rewards will be distributed within 15 working days after the event ends.
4. Tothemoon reserves the right to conduct early distribution of rewards. If the prize pool is exhausted during early distribution, the event may be considered concluded, and no further claims will be accepted.

Fraud & Abuse Prevention

1. Tothemoon reserves the right to review and disqualify participants found engaging in bulk registrations, artificial trading volume, cheating, fraud, illegal activities, or any other malicious behavior. Any rewards obtained through such actions may be recovered.

Amendments & Final Authority

1. Tothemoon reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the event or its terms at any time without prior notice, including but not limited to eligibility requirements, reward criteria, prize pool size, and event duration.
2. By participating in this promo event, users agree to be bound by these Terms and the General Promotions and Competitions Terms and Conditions.
