What is the $ZAMA token?

The ZAMA token functions as the core utility token within the Zama Protocol, underpinning both its operational and security frameworks. It is required for accessing protocol services such as private computation, encrypted data validation, decryption operations, and confidential cross chain interactions. Although service costs are referenced in fiat terms to provide stable and predictable pricing, payments are ultimately settled using ZAMA tokens. The protocol operates on a fee recycling model in which all usage fees are removed from circulation, while new tokens are created to compensate network operators. These operators commit ZAMA tokens as stake in order to run and secure the protocol infrastructure under a delegated proof of stake mechanism. Reward distribution is structured to encourage consistent participation and maintain network integrity. Token supply expansion follows a managed inflation schedule that can be modified through governance decisions. Through its direct link to protocol activity, staking participation, and operator rewards, the ZAMA token forms the economic foundation of Zama’s confidential computing network.

How to Participate

2. Verify your account with Advanced KYC.
3. Follow Tothemoon on X.
4. Make your first deposit of at least 5 USDC.
5. Trade at least 5 USDC on ZAMA/USDC or ZAMA/USDT during the airdrop window.

Event Registration & Eligibility

1. To participate, new users must register for the event by clicking the “Create Account” button or by creating an account on the Tothemoon platform within the campaign period 01.09.2025 – 11.02.2026. New users who deposit a minimum of 5 USDC (or equivalent in other cryptocurrency)  and complete their first spot trade within the event period will qualify for rewards.
2. The first 100 winners will receive $5 in $ZAMA tokens, while the remaining winners will get $3 in $ZAMA tokens. 
3. Bonus number two: The bonus is given to the first 10 users who deposit at least $100 during the campaign and complete spot trades totaling 100 USDC/USDT or more on eligible pairs will receive $10 in rewards.
4. All registered user accounts must complete Advanced Verification (KYC) to be eligible for participation and rewards.
5. “New users” are defined as individuals who create a Tothemoon account during the event period specified above. Each new user may participate in only one airdrop campaign created exclusively for new users. If a user joins multiple new-user airdrop campaigns, only the first valid participation will be eligible for rewards. Additional entries in other new-user airdrops will not be considered for prizes. Separate airdrops open to all users remain available for general participation, provided eligibility requirements are met.
6. Institutional users and market makers are strictly excluded from participating in this event and are not eligible for rewards.

Activity Metrics

1. Upon successful registration, the system will automatically track each user’s trading activity during the event.
2. Spot trading volume is calculated as: Spot trading volume = Opening volume + Closing volume.
3. Only trading activity generated after registration and on eligible trading pairs will be counted toward the event.

Reward Conditions

1. Each user can receive only one new user reward across all Tothemoon new user events. Example: If a user completes the requirements in two separate new user events (Event A and Event B), the reward will be issued only for the event with the earlier reward distribution date. Once a reward is claimed from one event, the user becomes ineligible for further new user event rewards.
2. Rewards will be distributed within 10 working days after the event ends.
3. Rewards are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to the availability of the prize pool. We strongly recommend completing all required steps as early as possible.
4. Tothemoon reserves the right to conduct early distribution of rewards. If the prize pool is exhausted during early distribution, the event may be considered concluded, and no further claims will be accepted.

Fraud & Abuse Prevention

1. Tothemoon reserves the right to review and disqualify participants found engaging in bulk registrations, artificial trading volume, cheating, fraud, illegal activities, or any other malicious behavior. Any rewards obtained through such actions may be recovered.

Amendments & Final Authority

1. Tothemoon reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the event or its terms at any time without prior notice, including but not limited to eligibility requirements, reward criteria, prize pool size, and event duration.
2. By participating in this promo event, users agree to be bound by these Terms and the General Promotions and Competitions Terms and Conditions.
