We are Listing UPCX (UPC)
UPCX is an open-source payment system built on a high-speed blockchain optimized for payments and financial services. Designed to perform at the same level as existing financial institutions, UPCX offers near-instant settlements, high scalability, and performance comparable to credit cards or mobile payments. The platform supports blind transfers, recurring payments, scheduled payments, automatic withdrawals, non-custodial escrow, and multi-signature permissions, all of which are made possible by advanced financial smart contracts.
Businesses and individuals can issue fungible (User Issued Assets, UIA) and non-fungible tokens (Non-Fungible Asset, NFA), as well as stablecoins (Market Pegged Asset, MPA) pegged to real-world assets, such as fiat currencies or commodities. These assets can be used across UPCX for payments, remittances, and trading.
What is the UPC token?
UPC is the native token of the UPCX ecosystem and the basis of its payment infrastructure. UPC is required to pay network fees, secure the blockchain, execute smart contracts, and incentivize validators, or Witnesses, who maintain network security. Beyond transactions, UPC plays a key role in governance where holders can delegate to Witnesses, who in turn help approve key protocol updates and ecosystem improvements. UPC can also serve as collateral for the issuance of market-pegged assets (MPAs).
To maintain the value of UPC, network fees paid with MPAs trigger a burn mechanism, securing the long-term sustainability of the token. Here are some of the token key aspects you should consider:
- Trading Volume (24h): The trading volume of UPC in the past 24 hours is $849.91 thousand.
- Circulating Supply: The circulating supply of UPC is 93.79 million tokens.
- Total Supply: The total supply of UPC is 780 million tokens.
